Mint Choco-Chip Smoothie

photo(49)Yes please. This is like instant craving control. It has the creamy sweetness of something indulgent and yet it’s actually doing great things for your body. That’s the green goodness.

You need:

  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk or coconut water
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1 banana or 1/2 frozen banana
  • 6 mint leaves
  • 2 huge handfuls of spinach
  • 2 tbsp raw cacao nibs
  • 1/2 cup ice (optional)

Blend baby, blend. This is a recipe straight out of my Reset Menu Plan. Yes, lucky you— so come join the cleansing fun!

Tasteful Tips: Besides being a cooling breath freshener, mint promotes digestion and is great for soothing for inflammation. It can also help in your efforts to lose weight (in a healthy way of course!) by stimulating your digestive enzymes = decreasing fat storage. Sound good? And spinach promotes healing, gotta love that!
