Avo-Dreamsicle Smoothie

photo (4)This creation is straight up dreamy with a little taste of summer.

You need:

  • 1 1/2 cups coconut water
  •  2 mandarin oranges, peeled
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 medjool dates
  • 2 big frozen banana chunks
  • 1/2 an avocado
  • 2 large handfuls of spinach

How to:

Blend and enjoy while thinking warm thoughts!

Besides having a super creamy, tasty texture, avocados are rich in antioxidants and contain more potassium than many other fruits and veggies. Spinach is another great source of antioxidants. It promotes healing (I love that) and improves memory and mental function. Lemon juice is a natural immune-system booster. Fresh lemon juice adds enzymes and vitamin C to your diet. It also helps detoxify the liver, and boost your metabolism! Don’t forget about mandarin oranges, they provide Vitamin C which can strengthen and protect your immune system!
